Milan, metropolitan city and capital of the Lombardy region, is an important center economic, industrial, publishing and cultural center. Among the main points of interest include the Duomo, the theater La Scala, the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie with the Cenacolo Leonardesco, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the Castello Sforzesco and the Parco Sempione.
Milan is also rich in museums and art galleries, including including the Pinacoteca di Brera and the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana. It is a vibrant city that is always moving with many attractions and new things to discover.

Lecco

The Hotel Parini is ideally located for reach the main points of interest in the area, such as the city of Lecco, which is only 12 km from our hotel. A city famous for the literary work by Alessandro Manzoni: “I Promessi Sposi,” Lecco is situated on the eastern branch of Lake Como, surrounded by the Grigna mountains and the Resegone ridge. In the 1800s and 1900s, Lecco was was one of Italy’s first industrial cities, earning the nickname “Iron City.”
Among the main historical and cultural points of interest of the city include Villa Manzoni, the Basilica of S. Nicolò, the “Matitone” bell tower symbol of the city, Piazza XX Settembre, Piazza Garibaldi, Piazza Cermenati and the historic via Bovara with the beautiful library and its typical stores. The city also offers many alternative routes, such as hiking along the Adda Nord Park, hiking trails, trails for mountain biking and the famous climbs of the Giro d’Italia and of Lombardy.

Como

Capital city of the Lario, located at the extreme Southern end of the Western branch of Lake Como, attracts thousands of tourists from all over the World thanks to its natural beauty. Not to be underestimate its international importance in the field of silk processing.
Situated in a privileged position, thanks in part to its proximity to Switzerland, the city winds along the lakefront, a point of great tourist attraction.
Another point of interest is definitely the Duomo which, with its majesty, dominates the town larian. In Como, the walls are still preserved historical walls and towers of what was once a Roman castrum.
In the city you can admire many buildings of rationalistic artistic value, including La Casa del Fascio, the War Memorial and the Sant’Elia Asylum.
Not to be forgotten is the Funicular railway that, starting from the Lake, joins the town to Brunate, a small village located 715 meters above sea level and offering a beautiful view of the panorama below.

Bergamo

Bergamo is the city of Donizetti, one of the five greatest World’s greatest opera composers. From masterpieces of music to those of art the masters such as Botticelli, Mantegna, Bellini and Raphael can be encountered here in the halls of the Accademia Carrara. The paths of art intertwine with those of history in a city of ancient origins: Bergamo Alta surrounded by walls with its Middle Ages holds among the narrow cobblestone streets ancient Roman remains, Renaissance churches, palaces eighteenth-century palaces and neoclassical facades, overlooking on the famous Piazza Vecchia, just a few steps from the museums.
Discover it on foot, among historic villages, towers, churches, funicular railways and stairways that climb the green of the surrounding Park of the Hills and let yourself be fascinated by the glimpses that open unexpectedly on the plains and mountains.
